How does it work?
When you Signup, you receive 10 points. These points can be used on any link you choose. You can use as many points as you have. Your point count is printed next to your pseudonym (username). To earn more points, post a link. For every 2 points you receive on a link, you will be credited with 1 point. Also, every 20 hours, you will be able to collect a random amount of points in the interactions tab.
How do I post a link?
When you sign in, there will be an yellow button with a +(plus) on it. When clicked, it will expand a form to post your link. Place the URL in the link field. If you have something to say about it, put your words in the comment box. Finally, there will be a Point name box. Instead of just a "Like", you can change your button to say anything you want under 20 characters. When you're ready, click submit!
How do I know how many points I've given to a link?
Next to each point button, there is a number. This number shows how many points that link has. If you click that number, it will show you how many points out of the total that you've given. For example, if you have clicked the button 4 times to give the link 4 points and the total points on the link is 23, clicking the total number will display 4 / 23.
What is Path and Global?
The Path tab is where the links from those you Trail (Follow) will appear. Trailing is the similar to following someone on other websites. To view links from everyone, visit the Global tab. If you see a link you like from someone you'd like to trail, click their name next to the time posted. Then click Trail. Their links will now show up in your Path.
What are the 8 pointed star, 5 pointed star, and circle?
The blue eight pointed star, will sort the links by newest to oldest. The yellow five pointed star, will sort the links by most amount of points. The circle will sort the links using a scored algorithm. These icons can be found on your Path, Global, and profiles.
What are chains?
Chains are links put together in a category. Any link can be added by anyone to a public chain. This makes links more visible and easier to find what you're looking for. Unlisted chains are chains that are only visible to you or through a link.
What are reference links?
Reference links are links that are related to the main link you posted. You can add a new one by clicking a link, clicking "New Reference", and putting a URL in the text box. You can have up to 3 of these References on a single link.
How do I get my friends and family to join?
On your profile, you'll find a blue link titled "Invites" next to the sign out link. If you click it, you'll be taken to a page where you'll be able to generate invites to send to people. Follow the instructions on the page.
